POLICY 1000: VISION, MISSION AND EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY AND GOALS
Establishes Westonka School District's purpose, mission, and philosophy, reflecting community beliefs and values, and its educational goals.

POLICY 1332: USE OF SCHOOL DISTRICT FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
Permits District #277 to lease space. Lease may be negotiated by the Superintendent, and must be approved by the School Board. Identifies revenue use.

POLICY 1600: MEMORIALS FOR DECEASED STUDENTS OR STAFF
Clarifies the criteria and the approval for proposed memorials for Westonka students or staff.

POLICY 1801: EQUAL ACCESS TO FACILITIES OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS BY STUDENTS
Equal Access Act grants access to secondary school facilities for students who wish to conduct a meeting for religious, political or philosophical purposes during noninstructional time.

Provides guidelines for the superintendent for timely disposition of obsolete equipment and material. Defines various manners of disposition based on the value of the equipment/material.

Identifies methods the district uses to comply with state laws on waste management and to make resource management integral to physical operations and curriculum.

Authorizes the school board to offer a reward for information that would solve or prevent a crime against students, school employees, volunteers, board members, or school district property.
