Wellness & Health Services
Westonka Schools wants to help you and your child stay healthy. Our goal is to promote healthy lifestyles that support learning. We've included advice and guidelines for what to do when your child is ill and tips for staying well!
The Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP) aims to help Minnesotans live longer, healthier lives by reducing the burden of chronic disease caused by tobacco use and exposure, poor nutrition and physical inactivity. Our district-wide focus lies in the three key areas of nutrition, physical activity and tobacco-free campus using research and data specific to Westonka. If you have any questions about wellness in Westonka Public Schools, please contact Laura Metzger, wellness coordinator.
