Westonka Teacher of the Year Award

    Westonka Education Minnesota is excited to launch the Westonka Teacher of the Year program.  We will be collecting nominations from staff, students, parents and community members. 

    Nominations for the 2023-24 award must be submitted by October 27, 2023. The nomination form is digital and will only take a few moments to complete.

    Teacher of the Year Nomination Form

    Nominees must meet the following criteria:

    • Teach pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
    • Hold at least a bachelor's degree and a Minnesota teaching license.
    • Have completed at least five full years of teaching by nomination deadline.
    • Intend to teach during the next school year.

    Please consider nominating an outstanding Westonka educator!

2017 Minnesota Teacher of the Year Corey Bulman

  • MN Teacher of the Year

    Westonka Schools is proud to announce that Corey Bulman, an English teacher at Mound Westonka High School, was named the 2017 Minnesota Teacher of the Year. Bulman is the 53rd recipient of the state's top teaching award and the first from the Westonka district.
