    School Supplies Spring weather means school supplies need to be ordered for the next school year. Current first through third grade students who want to order school supply kits through SchoolKids. Use the following link: and account #87895.

    This an on-line purchase only program and will be delivered to your home prior to Open House.

  • Imagination Celebration

    Imagination   Put Thursday, May 11th, 5:30pm - 7:30pm, on your calendar for a great night of    celebrating our children's imagination and creativity. Art from the classrooms and art         class, a masterpiece auction, black light jungle, and talent show.

    All for One $ will be collected in the media center.  This provides books for Hilltop kids in need.

  • Education Commissioner Tours Westonka Classrooms

    After hearing about the innovative personalized learning work happening in Westonka Schools, Minnesota Education Commissioner Brenda Cassellius decided to see it for herself. On April 14, Cassellius paid a visit to classrooms at Mound Westonka High School and Hilltop Primary School.

  • Hilltop's Jump Rope for Heart Event Doubles Fundraising Goal

    Hilltop Primary School students wrapped up their Jump Rope for Heart event on March 17 and more than doubled their goal of $5,000, raising an incredible $10,194 for the American Heart Association (AHA). Thanks to the efforts of Team Hilltop, over 200 lives will be positively impacted by the generous donation.

  • Mound Snowboarder Competes at National Championships

    Mound snowboarder Leo Leyva competed at the 2017 USA Snowboard and Freeski Association (USASA) National Championships held at Colorado's Copper Mountain April 1-6. Leyva, a fourth-grader at Hilltop Primary School, placed 10th in slopestyle in the Snowboard Grommet (8-9) Boys division. He also placed 14th in slalom and giant slalom and 26th in boardercross.

  • Westonka School District Receives 2017 School Finance Award

    Westonka Public Schools received the 2017 Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) School Finance Award. Westonka received this prestigious financial reporting honor for its 2015-16 fiscal year financial results.

  • Westonka Students' Work in Youth Art Month Shows

    Youth Art Month offers students special opportunities to showcase the visual arts each year during the month of March. Westonka students currently have artworks on display in two Youth Art Month exhibitions.

  • Students 'Stuff the Bus' with Food Shelf Donations

    Students throughout the Westonka School District took part in the fourth annual Stuff the Bus event on March 10 to benefit the Westonka Food Shelf. The effort involved all schools, each of which used creative ways of encouraging donations of cash, food and other needed items for the food shelf.
