  • Making Memories at Wolf Ridge

In what has become a rite of passage, Westonka's fourth-grade students, along with a group of staff and parents, recently spent an exciting week at the Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center in Finland, Minnesota. This year, Shirley Hills students visited Wolf Ridge May 14-18, while Hilltop fourth-graders made the trip May 21-25.

  • Senior Sports Two Sets of Tassels

MWHS senior Erin Ross is a little ahead of the game. She graduated May 27 with the Centennial Class of 2018. But she was already a college graduate by that time. On May 14, she graduated from Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) with an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Education.

  • Four Generations of the Sterne Family

The Sterne family’s connection with Westonka Schools goes back nearly 90 years and right up to the present. Jenneth Bertal Sterne was the first in the family to graduate from Mound High School in 1932, but he planted his roots in the community and his children also graduated from Mound High. His great-grandchildren are the most recent Westonka graduates.
