Welcome to Hilltop Primary School, and thank you for taking the time to explore our website. My name is Mike Moch, and I am proud to be the principal of Hilltop.
     
Hilltop Primary School is located in Minnetrista and serves students in Pre-K through Grade 4. We offer a variety of options in our preschool program and all-day Kindergarten. We have over 460 students that attend our school.  

Educational Excellence: We are honored to have received the National Blue Ribbon School Award for "Exemplary Education" in 2012. To meet our goal of educational excellence, we offer a stimulating and challenging curriculum to meet the needs of all students. We continue to implement our character education program, which allows students to develop the skills of respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, fairness, caring and citizenship. In addition, we have many exciting field trips planned to enrich and enhance the learning of our students.

Outstanding Staff: We are fortunate to have outstanding staff at Hilltop. Ninety percent of our teachers have their master's degrees. The teachers are dedicated and, through many outside events and activities, help to make our school a dynamic community. Besides our classroom teachers and support staff, we have specialists in the areas of art, physical education, music and media. Hilltop Primary also offers a Gifted and Talented Education Services (GATES) program.  

21st Century Skills: Our school is committed to the enhancement of technology skills through our 1:1 iPad programming. As part of this programming we are able to personalize learning to meet the needs of all our students. In addition, we have two computer labs in our media center and SMARTBoards and sound systems in every classroom. We are fortunate to have a fabulous PTA and Westonka community that support the vision and the mission of Hilltop Primary School.
