  • COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Updates

    Updates on Westonka Public Schools' response plan to the outbreak of COVID-19, the illness caused by the novel coronavirus, will be posted to www.westonka.k12.mn.us/covid19.

  • Westonka Public Schools Distance Learning Plan

    Westonka Public Schools intends to provide instruction to students when schools are closed due to the threat of COVID-19. Distance learning will primarily be accomplished through the use of online learning and district-issued devices, such as Chromebooks and iPads. This will require the full cooperation of students, teachers and parents/guardians to make this instruction meaningful and in compliance with Minnesota statutes.

  • Free Meals for Students by Delivery or Curbside Pickup

    During the state mandated school closure, Westonka Foodies and Westonka Bus Service are teaming up to provide free meals to students. Parents and students can pick up these meals outside Mound Westonka High School or along designated bus routes.

  • Show Your #WestonkaSpirit During Virtual Spirit Week April 6-10

    Westonka Public Schools students, staff and families are invited to show their school spirit by participating in Virtual Spirit Week April 6-10. Share photos of you or your student participating in the week's events by posting them to social media with the hashtag #WestonkaSpirit or by submitting them using the Photo Submission Form.

  • MWHS Students Unite People Through Music

    Mound Westonka High School band director Gretchen Chilson believes that music has the power to unite people, even when they can’t be physically together. That’s why she created a project that would get her students to practice and perform on their instruments while also making a difference in their world, using music to reach out to those in need.

  • Childcare for Emergency Workers

    At this time, we know first responder/medical/law enforcement professionals are needed more than ever. To support this effort, Westonka Public Schools will be providing childcare for families that fit this description Monday-Friday during the school closure. Families must register for childcare.
