  • Summer Catalog Cover Summer Registration is Open

    The Summer 2019 catalog is available for registration. Included this year are favorites like Band Camp, Reading and Math Boost camps, one to one music lessons in guitar, piano and violin, stength and conditioning programs for 6-12th graders, Kidcreate and Tech camps, as well as several sports camps and three sessions of swim lessons. We hope to see you and your family involved in a lot of great activities here in Westonka!

    Enjoy a special Father’s Day weekend Roy Orbison tribute show June 15 at the Westonka Performing Arts Center. In "The World of Roy Orbison," Bobby K beautifully duplicates Orbison's four-octave voice. You'll think you're hearing and seeing Roy Orbison himself!

  • Shirley Hills Second-Grader Earns Statewide Anti-Bullying Award

    Shirley Hills Primary School second-grader Kaia Kallestad received a statewide honor this week from PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center for helping to make the world a kinder place. She was presented with the 2019 Faces of Change Award at PACER’s Unity Awards banquet, which was held May 22 in Bloomington.

    Western Communities Action Network (WeCAN) will host a free Super Hero Kids™ Safer Tweens Training for kids in fourth- through sixth-grade and their parent on Tuesday, June 18, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

    The May 13 spring band concert at Mound Westonka High School gave director Gretchen Chilson an opportunity to acknowledge 17 seniors for their hard work and dedication to band. “Thank you for your leadership and dedication to our band program,” said Chilson.
