WESTONKA ADVENTURE CLUB (AGES 3-4 & 4-5)

Westonka Adventure Club is the premier School-Age Care Program of Westonka Public Schools!
Preschool Adventure Club is for children ages 3 - 4 & 4 - 5 who are fully toilet trained.
All Preschool Adventure Club children MUST also be enrolled in a Westonka Community Preschool program. Adventure Club uses the same Creative Curriculum and Pyramid Model (social/emotional framework) as the Preschool program to offer children an extension to their day. The Adventure Club staff and Preschool teachers collaborate together to assist in the development of the whole child.

Hours:
7:00 am-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, on days when Preschool is in session

Registration: New This Year
Due to the structure of Preschool & Adventure Club there have been significantly more typically-developed students applying for admission than there are available seats. A priority-based lottery is the simplest and most equitable way to allocate those limited seats.

• Registration opens to everyone on Monday, March 4 at 8:00 am and will be open until Friday, March 8 at 4:00 pm. 
• Families will be placed into a lottery, so the day and time you register will not matter.
• Staff will go through all the registrations and families will be placed in their respective priority.
• The approval process will begin on Monday, March 11.
• Families will be notified of their placement by Thursday, March 21, 2024, via an email.
• Once we are at maximum capacity, we will put families in a lottery for a waiting list.
• Please note if you need both Preschool & Adventure Club, you will need to create TWO contracts, one for each program.
• All required documents must be submitted by Friday, March 8 at 4:00 pm in order to be eligible for the lottery.
• Your family's account number will be your lottery number. 

The priority lottery will be as follows:

• Tier 1 - Current Students - Westonka Preschool, ECFE and Preschool Adventure Club and District Staff #277
• Tier 2 - Siblings of Current Families - Westonka Preschool and Adventure Club families
• Tier 3 - General Public

Program Options and Rates:

Full Day AC for Morning Preschool $35.00 per day

(This option means your child attends morning preschool. Children in morning preschool must attend Monday-Friday Adventure Club)

Full Day AC for Afternoon Preschool $35.00 per day

(This option means your child attends afternoon preschool. Children in afternoon preschool must attend Monday-Thursday preschool Adventure Club)

Full Day AC Fridays $45.00 per day

(This option is only available on Friday to children who attend afternoon preschool Monday-Thursday)

Shirley Hills Preschool Only (Full Day Preschool)

4 Days $26.00 per day.  (This option is for before and after preschool (Monday-Thursday)

Fridays Only $29.00 per day.  (This option is for before and after preschool)
