School-Based Chemical Health Services
-
The Westonka School District partners with Relate Counseling to provide chemical health counseling for students in all grade levels at Mound Westonka High School. Services are offered on-site during the school day, which is beneficial to students and families who may not otherwise have access to chemical health services. Students are ensured confidential services and may refer themselves to the Chemical Health Specialist for a one-time visit or ongoing consultations. Referrals may also be received from families and can be forwarded directly to the Chemical Health Specialist, Guidance or Administrative Staff.
These chemical health services are free of charge to MWHS students and families. Information shared with the Chemical Health Specialist is kept confidential and not released to school employees.
