I am excited to serve as Principal at Mound Westonka High School. The education of our children is a great responsibility. We are passionate about creating an atmosphere in which students can thrive and grow confidence through the many opportunities we offer.

Mound Westonka High School and the surrounding communities are layered with wonderful people who are passionate about our students and their success.  The passion here is matched by the dedication and heart of the people who serve our students and families. Our teachers dedicate themselves to continual professional growth and they are committed to providing big school opportunities in a small school setting that sees each student as a valuable member of our school.

We have a profound respect for the partnership we have with you and your child. Together we work to create an atmosphere and opportunities that challenge your child to grow and accomplish more than they realize possible. Great value is placed on a respectful and kind partnership, so we may work jointly and maximize the time each student has with us.

This year, you will hear emphasis in a core belief that your child’s presence matters at MWHS. Over the last couple years we have all discovered the true value of being present: present with family developing strong bonds and shaping character; present with friends, developing lasting relationships and fine tuning social/emotional skills; and present and engaged at school. Families are expected to prioritize attendance so students gain the maximum benefit within our belief that their presence matters and nothing replaces their active engagement in their learning.

Small School Advantages. Big School Opportunities. Real Life Success Stories.

This is not only our motto; it is a passion of the people at Mound Westonka High School as we support our White Hawks throughout their high school years. Please never hesitate to connect.
