    Students 'Walk the Red Carpet' at Grandview Winter Blast

    Grandview Middle School students celebrated the end of the semester at the Winter Blast on January 24. The annual party, which featured the theme of “Walk the Red Carpet,” was open to all students and included a DJ, open gym, dodgeball, volleyball, karaoke, movies and snacks. Students also enjoyed bingo, crafts, and a creative photo booth.

    Westonka Public Schools Welcomes Class of 2038

    Westonka Public Schools held Kindergarten Information Nights at Hilltop and Shirley Hills primary schools in January, giving the Class of 2038 and their families a sneak peek into the exciting world of kindergarten. Families interested in enrolling their child for the 2025-26 school year are asked to complete the online enrollment form by Feb. 1, 2025.

    Annual Regatta Challenges Students' Engineering Skills

    While regattas are usually reserved for warmer weather, engineering students at Mound Westonka High School launched their cardboard crafts into the pool Jan. 15 in the annual Engineering Regatta. A total of 13 boats created by students in Intro to Engineering, Engineering Design and Development, and Principles of Engineering classes competed in this year’s event.
