One of the hallmarks of Westonka students at every grade level is strong academic achievement. Students score consistently higher than national and state peer groups on standardized testing. See below for student achievement highlights from each school.
Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA-III)
Westonka's MCA-III scores regularly rank among the best in the state. The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments-III are the State of Minnesota's tool for measuring compliance with the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).

Northwest Evaluation Association Measures of Academic Progress (NWEA/MAP)
The Westonka School District uses the NWEA/MAP assessments to monitor growth in student achievement from fall to spring each year, and from one year to the next. With detailed information about a student's strengths and weaknesses, teachers are able to adjust curriculum and tailor assignments to help each student improve.
The NWEA/MAP tests are nationally normed and are used throughout the country to measure students' progress toward meeting high academic standards.
College Aptitude Tests
ACT: The majority of graduating Westonka students take the ACT test, which is required by most colleges and universities in the Midwest.
