    2024 School Finance Award

    Westonka Public Schools received the 2024 School Finance Award from the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE). The award from MDE recognizes school organizations for sound financial management policies and procedures. Criteria for earning the award is based on compliance with state statute on finance issues and demonstrating fiscal health.

    Westonka Credit Rating Aa2 by Moody’s considered "Excellent Financial Security"

    Westonka received a very high "Aa2" credit rating on its 2024 bond sale. This rating is a direct reflection of Westonka’s strong financial management and healthy financial condition.
