Westonka Foodies School Meal Account Balances

Effective Friday, May 20, 2022, all negative balance meal accounts MUST BE PAID IN FULL and REMAIN with a positive balance until the end of the school year. Online payments will close at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. The Food & Nutrition RevTrak payment portal will reopen again in August.

Year-End Remaining Meal Account Balances

Balances remaining in a student’s account at the end of the school year will carry over to the next school year. If the student moves to a new building, the balance will transfer. We encourage parents to check balances before school starts to ensure that there is enough money in the account. Westonka Foodies will transfer funds between siblings to clear any negative meal accounts.

Graduating Seniors - Fund balances of graduating seniors will be automatically transferred to a sibling meal account within the district. If no sibling is enrolled in the district, please contact Deb Bailey at (952) 491-8088 or baileyd@westonka.k12.mn.us to request a refund or to donate the remaining meal account balance to Westonka Foodies Angel Account, helping families that need a little help paying for meals in the coming school year.

Refunds of $10 or Greater (School Meal Accounts) - Complete a Meal Account Refund Request Form and forward to Food & Nutrition Services at 5905 Sunnyfield Road East, Minnetrista, MN 55364, fax to (952) 491-8083, or scan and email to baileyd@westonka.k12.mn.us. Requests for meal account refunds should be submitted by 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

Meal Account Purchase Histories

All customer purchase histories for school year 2021-22 will be purged at the end of the school year. Please be sure to print any needed student purchase history prior to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. While no-cost breakfasts and lunches were served to all students during school year 2021-22, your student(s) may have purchased a la carte.

Application for Educational Benefits (Free or Reduced Meals) School Year 22-23

As a reminder, families must reapply for free or reduced-price meals each school year. The application for next school year will be available online during the first week in July. Families can either complete a paper copy or apply online through Skyward Family Access.

1. Next school year, students will no longer receive universal no cost meals. (SY22-23 Meal Prices) 
2. Increased funding for direct student instruction for our school district.
3. Athletic & activity fee reductions for MWHS activities and Westonka Community Education.
4. Scholarships for school fees, testing, field trips & college applications.
5. Discounts on local community attractions (e.g., Children’s Museum)
