Westonka Community Education & Services offers a variety of basketball offerings for youth basketball players. Programs start for players as young as 3 years old all the way up to summer training opportunities for high school varsity players. Our goal is to teach the game to young players in a fun environment that makes them want to spend hours in the gym as their love of the game develops! A variety of programs and camps are offered during the course of the year to allow players to work on their game.

In November the Fall Skills Development program is offered. This program is designed to give participants the opportunity to knock the dust off and brush up on their basketball skills before the season starts in November. The program will focus on developing skills and techniques through a variety of dribbling, passing, and shooting drills. This program is great for beginner or experienced players.

The Westonka Community Education Youth Basketball Program is offered during the Winter season. This introductory program will focus on teaching participants the basic fundamental skills and rules of basketball through fun games and activities. Players will be able to consistently improve during this six week program.

As the summer months heat up there are multiple opportunities for players to get into the gym to work on their game. Westonka Community Education & Services offers summer youth camps for younger players and also works with the Mound Westonka High School Boys' and Girls' teams to offer summer training programs and multiple camps for all aspects of the game.
