March 17, 2025 — Shirley Hills Primary School hosted the annual Pastries for Parents event on March 14. During this event, which took place prior to the start of the school day, parents were invited to join their children at school for a light breakfast.

The popular event was held in the gym, where Shirley Hills teachers served mini-pastries, donuts, fruit, coffee and juice. Following the breakfast, students were invited to make cards for community members at Lake Minnetonka Shores Senior Living.

“We had a wonderful turnout for pastries for parents hosted by our amazing PTA,” said Dean of Students Beth Hausladen. “Students were very excited to be able to eat donuts for breakfast at school!”
