Westonka Foodies Update 2021 Meal Plans
Dear Westonka Families,
Please see the information below regarding student meal options for the remainder of 2020-21 school year. If the learning model for the district or for your student's building changes, we will send you information regarding updated meal options. Make sure to visit the Westonka Foodies website, www.westonkafoodies.com, for the most up-to-date menus and other information. January 2021 Meal Options for Westonka Students
Students of Westonka Schools will have multiple ways to access meals, depending on their grade level and learning model choice.
On days when your student is learning in their school building, they will visit our kitchens and cafeterias as they have in previous years but with extra safety and physical distancing measures in place.
Thanks to an extension of the USDA School Meal Waiver announced Aug. 31, all meals will be provided free of charge.
For more information about how your student’s school is promoting physical distancing during meal service, please reach out to the school directly.
"Group A" students pick up meals for distance learning school days on Monday and Wednesday. "Group B" students pick up meals on Tuesday and Thursday.
Hybrid A students will pick up meals on Monday for Tuesday and on Wednesday for Thursday AND Friday.
Hybrid B students will pick up meals on Tuesday for Wednesday and on Thursday for Friday AND Monday.
- Hybrid meals can be picked up at Grandview Middle School cafeteria between 2:40-3:00 p.m. or by the bus loading area on student days (excluding holidays and non-school days).
- Hybrid meals can be picked up by MWHS students at the end of the school day as they exit the building by the doors to the north parking lot, near the Student Commons, or at the entrance to the Performing Arts Center between 2:00-3:45 p.m. (excluding holidays and non-school days).
All hybrid meals are served free of charge.
Distance or hybrid learners will have the opportunity to pick up food on student days at Mound Westonka High School in front of the Westonka Performing Arts Center; Monday through Thursday, 2:00-3:45 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Masks are required during pickup.

Completing a free or reduced-price meal application will be critical to our district’s finances.
