May 8, 2025 — The Westonka Public Schools brand has received statewide recognition for excellence, earning two prestigious awards at the 2025 Minnesota Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) annual Classics Awards, held April 24.

The PRSA Classics Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in public relations across Minnesota, with entries divided into two primary categories: Elements—which recognizes individual tactics—and Programs—which honors comprehensive, results-driven campaigns.

Communications agency Neuger took home top honors in both categories for their work with Westonka Public Schools:

  • ELEMENTS: Brand Research and Insights
  • PROGRAMS: Reputation/Brand Management and Institutional Programs

These awards reflect the strength of Westonka’s rebranding initiative, which included over six months of strategic research, thoughtful design and comprehensive brand strategy.

“We’re incredibly proud of this recognition,” said Superintendent Kevin Borg. “From the start, our goal was to create a consistent and distinctive brand that proudly represents Westonka’s small school advantages with big school opportunities. It’s exciting to see that vision taking shape and to feel the positive energy and momentum growing throughout our district.”
