May 7, 2025 — Mound Westonka High School Student Senate gave it their all to create an incredible prom for senior and junior students on May 3. "A Night Enchanted” was the theme, complete with decorations and twinkling lights that created an enchanting backdrop to the festivities. 

“Watching our Student Senate members bring prom to life with creativity and collaboration was amazing -- they took pride in their vision and worked hard to put together a fun, beautiful, and memorable event,” said advisor Erica Boyles.

The night started with a grand march in the MWHS gymnasium, followed by the prom coronation in front of family and friends in the Performing Arts Center.

Seniors Isabella Villamil and Braeden Trundle were chosen by the senior and junior classes as the Reigning Monarchs on the prom court. Other members of the court included seniors Georgia Wilson, Audrey Kirscht, Avery Olson, Kayla Hatlestad, Gracie O'Halloran, Lauren Velander, Andrew Finley, Jacob Orenge, Cooper Magnus, Matthew Mobagi, Luke Carlson, and Isaac Hays.

The evening continued at Gale Woods Farm, complete with a social hour, buffet, desserts, beverages, and capped off with the prom dance.

“Everything went smoothly, and to top it all off, we had perfect weather for an enchanted evening of dining, dancing, and celebrating friendship!” added Boyle.
