March 20, 2025 — The Westonka community is invited to celebrate a major milestone in the school's history with the groundbreaking ceremony for the redesigned Westonka High School. The event will take place on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. on the north side of the high school, located at 5905 Sunnyfield Road E, Minnetrista.
Attendees will enjoy a special ceremony, featuring:
- interactive stations,
- light refreshments,
- music, and
- commemorative keepsakes.
Representatives from Kraus-Anderson Construction and Wold Architects & Engineers, as well as school and district administrators, will be on hand to provide information and answer questions about the upcoming redesign, which aims to enhance the learning environment and improve functionality, safety and pride.
