Westonka Earns 2025 Niche ‘Best School Districts’ Ranking

October 3, 2024 — Westonka Public Schools has been ranked among the best school districts in Minnesota in Niche’s 2025 Best Schools and Districts rankings released Monday. Westonka is ranked No. 17 out of 383 Minnesota districts by the ranking and review website. Niche gave Westonka an overall A letter grade, as well as A ratings in the Academics and Teachers categories. 

The annual Niche rankings are based on analysis of key statistics and reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality and public school district ratings. [Learn more about the Niche ranking methodology]

The Niche recognition follows Westonka’s No. 5 state ranking earlier this school year by SchoolDigger, which ranks Minnesota districts based solely on the most current math, reading and science Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments.
