Mound Westonka High School is proud to name senior Audrey Kirscht as the 2025 recipient of the Athena Award. Candidates for this “outstanding female athlete” award must demonstrate excellence in individual or group sports. Westonka has been celebrating the top female athlete since 1973.

Westonka Schools 'Stuff the Bus' for Westonka Food Shelf
On a beautiful spring-like day on March 14, students around the Westonka School District eagerly headed outside with hundreds of food items they collected for the Westonka Food Shelf at the annual “Stuff the Bus” event. A school bus stopped at each school, where students stuffed the bus with food and cash donations collected during the March FoodShare Drive.

Westonka DECA made a strong impression at this year’s State Career Development Conference, held March 2-4 at the Minneapolis Hyatt Regency. Westonka sent 162 students to compete, and following an exceptional showing, a school record 50 students qualified for the 2025 International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida.
