Grandview Theater to Present 'Newsies JR' at Westonka PAC
Grandview Middle School and Westonka Community Education are proud to present Disney’s “Newsies JR.” on stage at the Westonka Performing Arts Center Nov. 21-24. The show features a total of 85 middle school students performing on stage and working behind the scenes on the crew.

Westonka DECA Kicks Off Competitive Season
The Westonka DECA Chapter is off to an impressive start to the 2024-25 season, showcasing both seasoned talent and enthusiastic newcomers as they take on competitive business simulations. Recently, three of the chapter's teams distinguished themselves by qualifying for the DECA International Career and Development Conference through the Virtual Business Challenge. Meanwhile, the chapter's recent participation in the Back to Business Challenge provided an exciting opportunity for 77 members to sharpen their skills and gain invaluable experience.

Update Skyward Family Access to Receive School Alerts
At 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, Westonka Public Schools will be conducting a test of its parent notification system for weather-related closings and delays. We ask that all families use Skyward Family Access to ensure that the district has the most current phone numbers and e-mail addresses in the event of a weather-related closing or other announcement sent through ParentSquare.

The Hilltop Primary School Octoberfest Carnival is always a great event, and this year was no exception. The community gathered Oct. 5 to play games, dunk Principal Mike Moch in the dunk tank, and visit with neighbors and friends, raising a record setting $40,000 in the process.
