  • Grandview Students Enjoy Annual Turkey Bingo

    Students at Grandview Middle School participated in Turkey Bingo Wednesday and Thursday during Morning Meeting. This popular annual event, enjoyed possibly more by the staff than the students, was a fun way for students and staff to connect before transitioning to distance learning.

    Westonka Education Minnesota surprised five Westonka Public Schools educators Wednesday morning with their respective schools' top teaching award. Congratulations to Westonka’s 2020-2021 building Teachers of the Year: Calleigh Forcier from Westonka Early Learning, Chantelle Jordahl from Hilltop Primary School, Beth Hausladen from Shirley Hills Primary School, Aaron Thorpe from Grandview Middle School and Kristin Wallace from Mound Westonka High School.

  • Update Your Family's Contact Information to Receive School Alerts

    At 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, Westonka will be conducting a test of its parent notification system. The district asks that all families use Skyward Family Access to ensure that we have the most current phone numbers and email addresses in the event of a weather-related closing or other announcement. NEW: Westonka will be utilizing text messages for district notifications this year. If you would like to receive text messages from the school district, please make sure to complete the Text Message Number field in Skyward.

  • Queen Alyssa and King Josh Preside Over Homecoming

    Mound Westonka High School seniors Alyssa Bourdon and Joshua Nkhata were crowned 2020 Homecoming Queen and King at a coronation ceremony on Sunday, November 1. Family members participated in the special event, while students and staff were invited to view the event via livestream.
