  • Westonka Celebrates Paraprofessionals Week

    Governor Tim Walz has proclaimed January 25-29, 2021 Paraprofessional Recognition Week. There are over 20,000 paraprofessionals in Minnesota working hard every day to make sure every child has the education they need to succeed in school and life. In the Westonka School District there are 71 dedicated paraprofessionals who provide a wide range of services to students. Westonka Schools recognized and celebrated their work in a variety of ways throughout the week.

  • Grandview Students Present Virtual Art Show

    The Grandview Middle School art show has always been a showcase for wonderful artwork and a means for talented students to be recognized and even rewarded for their work. But this year, due to COVID, art teacher Hannah Loucks had to come up with a different option that allowed students to share and receive recognition for their talents without having an in-person audience.

  • Nominations Now Open for 2021 Ann Bremer White Hawks Award

    Nominations will be accepted through Feb. 26 for the 2021 Ann Bremer White Hawks Award. The award recognizes some of the many dedicated volunteers who offer exceptional service to our school community. Any Westonka staff member, parent or community member may nominate candidates for the award.

  • Students Host Collection Drives for WeCAN

    December is traditionally a time of giving for Westonka students and this year was no different. Despite the fact that students were involved in distance learning this year, students and staff at each school found a way for their schools to participate in the annual holiday drive for families served by Western Communities Action Network (WeCAN).
