During the 2025-26 school year, school breakfast and lunch meals will be fully funded for all students in Minnesota in grades K-12. Westonka preschool students also qualify. We invite your student(s) to eat one free breakfast meal and one free lunch meal each school day. Although no application is required to receive this free meal benefit, filling out the Application for Educational Benefits is still important! Your child(ren) may qualify for other benefits like reduced fees at school. Your application may also help the school qualify for education funds, discounts, and other meal programs.
Occasionally, the school district utilizes surveys to gather student opinions and information. Parents have the right to review the survey prior to administration and may choose to not have their child participate in the survey.
Possession and use of tobacco/nicotine by students, staff, visitors, and tenants is strictly prohibited in school buildings and vehicles, on school property, and at school or district-sponsored events or activities, which are under District jurisdiction.
