Westonka's scenic location, on the western bays of beautiful Lake Minnetonka, provides all the advantages of metropolitan living blended with the leisurely pace of a small town atmosphere. Westonka Public Schools (ISD 277) is a short 12 miles west of Interstate 494 and Interstate 394 (US Highway 12). We are also less than a 30-minute drive to all the amenities and excitement of downtown Minneapolis.
There are 18,000 lifelong learners in the Westonka community, of which over 2,400 actively participate in a superior preschool through 12th-grade program. District facilities include an early learning center, two primary schools, a grades 5-7 middle school, a grades 8-12 high school, an Educational Service Center and a transportation facility.
