American Indian Parent Advisory Committee

The mission of the Westonka Public Schools American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC) is to develop a deeper understanding of the academic and social-emotional needs of American Indian children in order to support a positive and engaging learning experience at school and to celebrate American Indian students’ cultural heritage.

About AIPAC

Per Minnesota statute, a school district in which there are 10 or more American Indian students enrolled must establish an American Indian education parent advisory committee. The Westonka Public Schools American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC) is made up of parents/guardians, grandparents and other family members of American Indian students, as well as community members that have an American Indian affiliation.

AIPAC hosts a variety of events during the school year to provide American Indian students and their families opportunities to form friendships and learn about their culture. There is no cost to participate in AIPAC.
