Westonka Public Schools relies on a multifaceted approach to school safety, which includes having strong operational systems, close relationships, two-way communication, expert training, ongoing collaboration with local emergency responders, and secure and responsive facilities.

Student Tip Line

Westonka High School offers a Student Wellness and Safety Tip Line in Schoology for students to report various concerns.

  • The Tip Line should not be used to report an immediate concern regarding a student’s safety related to a student hurting themselves or thoughts of suicide. Call 911.
  • The Tip Line should not be used to report an immediate concern related to the safety of an individual student or the school. Call 911.

Emergency Preparedness: Standard Response Protocol

Westonka Public Schools utilizes the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) developed by the I Love U Guys Foundation in collaboration with local law enforcement. The SRP is based not on individual scenarios but on the response to any given situation.
