Register for Early Childhood Screening
Becca Neuger
Early Childhood Screening is recommended for all children between the ages of three to five years. It is also a state requirement in order to attend kindergarten at a public school in Minnesota.
The free Early Childhood Screening includes a review of all growth and development, immunizations, hearing and vision. Its purpose is to affirm a child’s development and identify any early needs for educational assistance or community resources. It is a snapshot of your child on that particular day and time, not a predictor of future success.
The best age to screen at is roughly three years, six months. Sign up online at www.westonkace.org or call (952) 491-8576 to schedule an appointment.
